The same goes for Febelgra and the different foreign organizations &#8211; in the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, the United States, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Austria, Norway and the United Kingdom \u2013 that will introduce the specifications very soon.<\/p>\n<p>The v4 specifications support the latest software like Acrobat Distiller 7\/8\/9\/X\/XI and InDesign<br \/>\n    CS2\/CS3\/CS4\/CS5\/CS6\/CC. A complete list of supported applications can be found on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gwg.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.gwg.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the differences between v4 and v3, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medibelplus.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/V4vsV3conceptuitgebreid_EN.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In order to achieve this it was necessary to adjust all 13 PDF profiles and matching Adobe PDF settings (joboptions)\n<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting date and intermediate phase<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As to the ads in magazines and papers the profiles will be allowed from January 1, 2010 onward. To download them,<br \/>\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/www.medibelplus.be\/en\/pdf-x-plus-specifications\/\">Click here<\/a> (can also be found on <a\n        href=\"http:\/\/www.gwg.org\/\">www.gwg.org<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Ghent PDF Workgroup v3 Settings (Medibel+ v6) will be supported till GWG v5 (Medibel+ v8) is released.<\/p>\n<p>The v4 specifications can be used with minimum the following applications :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adobe Acrobat Distiller 7\/8\/9\/X\/XI<\/li>\n<li>Direct PDF export from Adobe inDesign CS2\/CS3\/CS4\/CS5\/CS6\/CC<br \/><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em><span\n                    style=\"font-size: .8rem; line-height: 0px;\">(attention: also called joboptions in InDesign CS2\/CS3\/CS4\/CS5\/CS6\/CC. Because of the central management of the joboptions, you will see them as well in Distiller 7\/8\/9\/X\/XI as in all CS2\/CS3\/CS4\/CS5\/CS6\/CC applications, but it is very important to select the correct joboptions specific for InDesign CS2\/CS3\/CS4\/CS5\/CS6\/CC and not to use those from Distiller 7\/8\/9\/X\/XI in InDesign CS2\/CS3\/CS4\/CS5\/CS6\/CC!!!<br \/>\n                    Therefore a clear distinction in the naming of the joboptions is made:<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: .8rem;\">_1v4.joboptions = only to be used in Distiller 7\/8\/9\/X\/XI<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em><span style=\"font-size: .8rem;\">_1v4_IND4.joboptions = only to be used for InDesign CS2\/CS3\/CS4\/CS5\/CS6\/CC direct export)<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Enfocus Pitstop Professional 9.2, Pitstop Server 9.2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_3&#8243;
