Yet the wide variety in cameras as well as the large number of image and file formats have created the need for a standard, so as to guarantee the quality of digital images forwarded for graphic applications. To cope with this need, Medibel+ decided to develop such a standard. The newly conceived standard comprises two major parts: The first part relating to \u2018Shootings&#8217; the second part relating to \u2018News Photography&#8217;.
