PDF/X plus specifications
Below you will find a number of different files you can use for creating your PDF document. On the one hand, PDF-files with screenshots which contain the PS settings from QuarkXpress 6.x, 7.x, 8.x, 9.x, 10 + Acrobat Distiller 7/8/9/X/XI settings. On the other hand the Distiller joboptions, which can be downloaded and installed in Acrobat Distiller.
Besides this, you will also find the InDesign and QuarkXPress “direct export to PDF” settings.
In function of a “PDF/X PLUS v4 workflow”, the PDF profiles for Enfocus PitStop are available aswell.

Download here & first install the QuarkXPress 7.31 or QuarkXPress 7.5 extension (Mac OSX) to prevent QuarkXPress from adding a standard white margin of 3.5 mm to the bleed format of the PDF. |

Attention: also called joboptions in InDesign 4 (CS2). Because of the central management of the joboptions, you will see them as well in Distiller 7/8/9/X/XI as in all CS2/CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC applications, but it is very important to select the correct joboptions specific for InDesign CS2/CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC and not to use those from Distiller 7/8/9/X/XI in InDesign CS2/CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC !!! Therefore a clear distinction in the naming of the joboptions is made: _1v4.joboptions = only to be used in Distiller 7/8/9/X/XI _1v4_IND4.joboptions = only to be used for InDesign CS2/CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC direct export |
